Canyoning in Scotland

If you loved gorge walking then this is the next step for you. Canyoning is descending a canyon using natural features and ropes. You will be abseiling, jumping and sliding your way down some outstanding locations. It's like caving with the roof off.

Canyoning on Dartmoor

Unfortunately most of Dartmoor’s rivers and gorges lack the gradient for great canyons. Fret not, we have put together an advanced gorge scramble package which is as close to canyoning as you get on the moors. Abseiling down an 8m waterfall, steep drops, slides and jumps.

Wilderness Canyon

Our canyon experience is 3km long and drops 250m's from the top of Dartmoor. It is not for everyone but if you are up for a challenging half day out then please get in touch.

  • Max group size is 8

  • Minimum age is 14
